Davidsons Blast Services (DBS) was awarded the globally-recognised NORSOK M501 certification after demonstrating its competence of the activities in line with the specifications set out by the Norwegian petroleum industry.

Peterhead-based Davidsons Blast Services (DBS) has completed a major contract with a leading back-deck solutions firm totalling a six figure sum.
The family run surface preparation and protective coatings specialist undertook the project by applying the specialist service of blast cleaning and application of a three coat topside paint system on Maritime Development’s (MDL) 75-tonne Portable Vertical Lay system (PVLS) and multiple reel drive system (RDS). read more…

Peterhead-based surface preparation and protective coatings company Davidsons Blast Services (DBS) has achieved ISO 14001 environmental management certification.
DBS provides a specialist service to the oil and gas, decommissioning and subsea industries.
The family firm secured the certification from an accredited certification body following a comprehensive audit which was undertaken alongside the company’s annual ISO 9001 Quality Management System review audit. read more…
